Through My Lens and My Heart — A Journey Rooted in Jaipur and Guided by the Stars

A mechanical engineer and photographer, oral historian, traveler, born and raised in the heritage city of Jaipur, India. My journey has been an exploration of machines and monuments, logic and faith, science and soul.
What began as a fascination with how things work gradually expanded into a deeper curiosity about why things exist the way they do. Engineering taught me precision and perspective, while photography and storytelling gave me the language to express emotion, culture, and continuity.
Over the years, my camera has become a bridge connecting me to the architectural beauty of Jaipur, its people and the rhythms of everyday life that define this timeless city. My work celebrates spaces where history breathes, where old facades hold conversations with the present.
As an oral historian, I document the voices and memories that shape Jaipur’s living heritage. As a writer, I try to weave stories that explore identity, tradition, and transformation. My interest in astronomy and astrology, guided by Jaipur’s royal priest, deepened my understanding of time, energy, and the cosmic patterns that mirror our human journey.
Travel has been both my retreat and my revelation — whether it’s cycling through narrow lanes at dawn, exploring forgotten shrines, or sitting with local artisans whose craft keeps our culture alive. Through my initiative supporting women-led hand block printing, I aim to sustain the artistry that defines Rajasthan’s soul.
Everything I do — be it a photograph, a story, or a conversation — is guided by a single idea: to find harmony between roots and rhythm, between the mechanical and the mystical, between what we build and what we believe.
